Discover a pearl farm on the motu of Taufari'i, in Bora Bora, and leave with your very own Tahitian black pearl!
The Bora Bora Pearl Farm team invites you to spend a moment of discovery in Polynesia in the paradise-like setting of the motu of Taufari'i... a motu with a magnificent view of Mount Otemanu ! Thanks to this pearl farm visit in Bora Bora, the fascinating world of Tahiti's black pearl will no longer hold any secrets for you.
Your visit to the pearl farm begins with a shuttle service that will pick you up directly from your hotel or from the Vaitape quay. Once you arrive at the motu of Taufari'i, a professional guide will show you how the Tahitian black pearl farm works. Afterwards, you can go and see for yourself where the pearl oysters are grown and go snorkelling there! A coral garden is located near the oyster farm, so you can admire that too!
During your snorkelling session, your guide will help you choose a pearl oyster to bring up and extract the precious Tahitian black pearl inside. Once you've selected your oyster, you'll return to the motu of Taufari'i to enjoy some seasonal fruit and learn about the techniques used to extract the pearl.
To make sure you take home as many memories as possible of your visit to this pearl farm in Bora Bora, a photo session with your guide and captain will be organised in the magnificent setting of the motu Taufari'i, with the turquoise sea and the view of the famous Mount Otemanu in the background! As well as this souvenir photo, you'll leave with the Tahitian black pearl found in the oyster brought up earlier.
