First Dive at Port-Vendres, in the Gulf of Lion Marine Park

- Welcome to the Port-Vendres Diving Activity Centre

- Briefing on the course of the outing

- Equipment for divers in the changing rooms (wetsuit, fins and mask)

- Boarding the boat

- Navigation to the dive site (10 to 15 minutes) with briefing on the activity and safety instructions

- Entry into the water with the instructor (1 diver per instructor), short phase of getting used to the equipment

- Immersion for 40 minutes, to a maximum depth of 6 metres

- Return to the boat, then snorkel until everyone finished their first dive

- Navigation back to the dive centre (10 to 15 minutes)

- De equipment in the changing rooms with hot shower facilities

- Receipt of your first dive certificate and end of the activity

You don't need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.

You must not have any medical contraindications to taking part in this activity.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or people with severe disabilities.

A minimum number of 3 participants is required to run this activity.

If you would like to take part in the activity as a companion on board the boat, without diving, please book the ‘Companion joining the tour as snorkeler’ option: if you wish, you can use fins, masks and snorkels to swim around the boat while the divers take their first dives.
