7-Day Dog Sledding & Camping Excursion in Kvaløya from Tromsø

Day 1

- Pick-up from the starting point in Tromsø (please specify your location upon booking)

- Meet the guide and board the minibus

- Drive to the kennels in Tisnes, Kvaløya

- Meet the dogs and safety briefing

- Enjoy hot drinks and snacks

- Pre-departure briefing and instructions for dog sledding and equipment

- Dinner

- Camp at the kennels in a Sami tent

Day 2

- Breakfast

- Drive with the dogs, sleds and equipment to Signaldalen (approximately 2 hours)

- Prepare the sleds

- The dog sledding adventure begins!

- Stop for breaks and lunch

- Arrive at the campsite

- Dinner

- Camp in the wilderness

Day 3 - 6

- Breakfast

- Pack up in the camp

- Feed the dogs

- Prepare the sleds

- Dog sledding excursion

- Stop for breaks and lunch

- Arrive at the campsite (camping in a cabin in Rostojavri on Day 4)

- Dinner

- Camp in the wilderness

Day 7

- Breakfast

- Pack up in the camp

- Feed the dogs

- Prepare the sleds

- Dog sledding excursion through Øvre Dividal National Park

- Arrive at Dividalen

- Return drive to Tromsø (approximately 2 hours)

Please note that a good physical fitness level is required as you will need to help the dogs push the sled.

Your luggage will also be pulled on the sled, so please ensure it does not weigh more than 15 kg / 33 lbs.
