A 2-day course to introduce you to solo paragliding at Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet: the Air Alpin Parapente team has the ambition to get you flying in 2 days!

Course of events
  • Meeting with the instructor at the Air Alpin Parapente school
  • Briefing on the course of the activity
  • Walk to the school slope, right next to the school
  • Day 1: mastery of take-off techniques, theory on how to prepare for landing, piloting in the mechanical simulator and familiarisation with the flight equipment
  • Day 2: choose between 2 tandem flights with dual control or 1 tandem flight, followed by a solo flight, then a debriefing on your progress and your feelings to end the course
Activity requirements

The licence is essential for taking part in paragliding training courses. It can be taken out for the current year or for 9 days: https://intranet.ffvl.fr/ffvl_licenceonline#fin

For safety and equipment reasons, please respect the following restrictions:

  • Maximum weight: 198 lbs / 90 kg
  • Maximum height: 190 cm

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please remember to wear suitable clothing (covering arms and legs), particularly shoes for medium-mountain hiking, trail running or jogging.

Special terms

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or disabled people.

Photos and videos are available at an additional fee of €25, to be paid onsite.
