Enjoy the spectacular setting of the Canadian Rockies with the whole family on a scenic rafting trip down the Athabasca, in the heart of Jasper National Park!
Aboard a 25-foot-long raft that can accommodate up to 24 passengers, marvel at the impressive scenery of the Canadian Rockies on this panoramic rafting trip down the Athabasca. Running through Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Athabasca offers the perfect backdrop for admiring the surrounding peaks (Pyramid Mountain, Mount Edith Cavell, Roche Bonhomme, etc.), as well as the wildlife that thrives in this exceptional natural environment: elk, moose, coyotes, eagles, bighorn sheep, bears and many other animals typical of Alberta!
In the company of your children from the age of 3, and even your 4-legged friends, this panoramic rafting trip down the Athabasca in Jasper National Park will offer you 1 to 1.5 hours of pleasant navigation, with the occasional passage through Class II rapids that can splash you. One of the advantages of this experience is that you won't have to paddle: it is up to your guide, standing in the centre of the raft, to steer your boat throughout the adventure! All you have to do is enjoy the splendid views that await you of the Canadian Rockies, as well as the riverside forests where you might spot a few animals if you are lucky!
A calm activity that doesn't require you to know how to swim, this panoramic rafting trip down the Athabasca in Jasper National Park will provide you with some incredible memories of your stay in Alberta!
