Your adventure camping and kayaking in the Stockholm Archipelago begins at the meeting point in Stockholm, where you and your group (a maximum of 8 people) will be greeted by your experienced guide/instructor. After you've received your gear (life jacket, paddle, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, splash deck, and rain gear), you'll be provided with a safety and itinerary briefing. Then, you'll board the scenic transfer to the departure point in the Stockholm Archipelago.
Upon your arrival, you'll pack your gear and your guide will give an introduction to kayaking and paddling techniques. Now, the fun starts! You'll practice paddling in the water and once everyone is comfortable, you'll paddle with confidence in the Stockholm Archipelago, taking in the beautiful scenery as you go! Don't forget to keep an eye out for the region's wildlife, moose, deer, foxes, seals, and a large variety of bird species are abundant in this area. You'll stop for a freshly prepared lunch on one of the remote islands and will enjoy free time for sunbathing and swimming.
Your camping and kayaking in the Stockholm Archipelago excursion continues to another uninhabited island, where you and your group will set up camp. Around a roaring campfire, your guide will entertain you with stories about the history of Stockholm as well as the local flora and fauna. Once you've finished your traditional Swedish dinner, cooked over the open fire, you'll experience a sense of serenity like none other under the starry sky of the Stockholm Archipelago! The next morning, you'll have a hearty breakfast and will have time for a quick swim before packing up camp and continuing kayaking in the Stockholm Archipelago. En route back to the starting point, you'll stop at another lovely island for lunch and refuel for the return paddle.
