Join an amazing ice skating excursion on the frozen lakes of Stockholm. Welcoming adventurers from ages 13 and up!
Stockholm is the capital city of Sweden. Situated on 14 islands, Stockholm is renowned for its stunning waterfront views, charming cobblestone streets, and colourful buildings. During the winter months, the wilderness areas around the city transform into a white wonderland, with snowy forests and frozen lakes!
The trip will start at the meeting point in Stockholm where you will be greeted by the experienced guide. From there, you'll travel to the ice skating location, which will depend on the day's weather conditions. Once you've arrived, the instructor will give a short safety briefing. Then, the adventure begins! You'll experience the special thrill of sliding across frozen water while marvelling at the incredible surrounding nature.
After spending the morning skating, you will be treated to a delicious campfire lunch to restore your energy, followed by skating on another nearby lake, if the conditions are favourable. To finish your special day, you'll enjoy Swedish Fika (hot drinks and pastries) while watching the mesmerising sunset. The guide will then drive you back to the starting point in the city.
