The ice fishing and snowmobile safari from Kiruna begins at the starting point. Upon arrival at the Kiruna Guidetur base, you and your group will be greeted by your friendly and experienced guide. After changing into your winter gear, including thermal overalls, boots, gloves, and a hat, you will receive a safety briefing and an introduction to snowmobiling. With your helmet safely fastened, the fun starts! You'll experience the thrill of navigating the picturesque snowy landscapes and Arctic forests near the Torne River, traversing a total distance of 20-25 km (12-15.5 miles).

Then, it's time for ice fishing in Kiruna! Once you've arrived at the ice-fishing location, your guide will help you drill your own hole as well as help with the fishing equipment. You’ll then settle comfortably on a reindeer hide beside a freshly drilled ice hole to try your luck at catching Perch or Whitefish. As you fish, your guide will share fascinating insights about the region’s unique ecosystem and how its wildlife thrives in the cold. If luck is on your side, you'll eat your own catch around a cosy campfire for lunch! If not, don't fret, you'll be served traditional Lappish food with some tantalizing local delicacies. When the activity ends, you'll head back to the original departure point in Kiruna with lifelong memories of this unique tour.

Die Schneemobiltour war großartig, wir sind durch die Wälder und über die Seen gefahren. Die Aussicht war richtig schön. Beim Eisangeln war die Atmosphäre total idyllisch. Wir hatten den ganzen See für uns alleine, später saßen wir an einem Lagerfeuer und haben alle zusammen gegessen. Es war ein toller Ausflug! :)
