This region is characterised by its unique landscape, with thousands of islands and islets scattered along the coastline, making it a paradise for a kayaking adventure!

Your sea kayaking excursion begins at the starting point in Grebbestad. You’ll meet your experienced guide, who will go through a safety briefing and instructions for kayaking. No prior kayaking experience is needed to join this trip. After receiving your high-quality equipment (kayak, paddle and sprayskirt) and your kayak clothes (spray top and paddle shoes), you’ll head for the archipelago!

Following the guide, you’ll set off paddling in your kayak along the archipelago, passing the many unique and diverse islands. The islands are often topped with smooth, weathered rocks and lush vegetation, creating a striking contrast against the deep blue sea. Bohuslän is also famous for its seafood, with many fishing communities in the towns along the coast. As you paddle, the guide will share insights about the region and its history.

Midway through the excursion, you’ll stop at one of the islands for a break. While you enjoy the breathtaking views, a “Swedish Fika” (coffee and cake), will be served. "Fika" is a Swedish concept that refers to the act of taking a coffee break. It’s more than just a break for a coffee and snack, it's the time of the day when you allow yourself a moment of pure relaxation either in a peaceful environment or among others in conversation. After you unwind and take in the stunning scenery, you’ll head back along the waters to the starting point in Grebbestad.
