This activity was fantastic! We got to drive our own snowmobile through the arctic in the search of the Northern lights. Although we did not see them on the tour our guide Martina was great. She did what she could to take us to all the best spots. She even told us about the orange pine tree and if you hug it it will bring you luck in seeing the auroras. And soon after we got back after the tour the weather changed and we were able to see them at the Abisko Mountain Lodge. Not saying it was the tree. But I'm not saying it wasn't. 5 stars!

The night sky snowmobiling tour was a lot of fun, although after the fact I question the environmental wisdom of taking such a tour for pure fun, as there was so e noise and emissions pollution. We were a small-ish group of only 5 snowmobiles, so it was manageable, but we did see other groups during our stay that were much larger.

Excursion extraordinaire dans la région d’Abisko, nous nous sommes promenés à travers les lacs gelés et les forêts, nous avons fait une pause avec une boisson chaude offerte autour d’un feu pendant que nous regardions les aurores boréales
