From jumping off the rocks along the coast to swimming and snorkelling sessions, coasteering in Simon's Town is an activity not to be missed in Cape Town!

Pioneers of coasteering in Wales, Gravity Adventures is proud to be the first professional to offer coasteering in Simon's Town, on the Cape Peninsula. With some similarities to canyoning or kloofing, which take place in rivers, coasteering takes place along a protected marine coastline that you can explore through swimming sessions, snorkelling and jumping off rocks. It is an activity accessible to anyone aged 8 and over who can swim, making it the ideal way to have fun with family and friends in the great outdoors!

This coasteering excursion in Simon's Town takes place in the clear waters of the Cape Peninsula, where marine life is renowned for its richness: if you are lucky, you might even spot the famous Cape penguins! Working alongside a professional instructor and fully equipped for the activity (wetsuit, helmet and life jacket), you will spend around 2 hours swimming, walking in the water and, if you wish, jumping off rocks 8 to 10 metres/26-32 feet high, depending on the tide.

Taking place in a protected environment with a magnificent natural setting, this coasteering adventure in Simon's Town will offer you an unforgettable experience on the Cape Peninsula!

La météo a nécessité l'annulation de l'activité. La guide nous a proposé une autre activité de découverte-nature dans le parc du cap de bonne espérance.
