Shark Cage Diving from Gansbaai

A personal, face-to-face encounter with this awesome animal, is guaranteed to get your adrenaline going! Dive with the sharks in Gansbaai!

Getting into the cage with sharks around is truly one of the most breath-taking adventure activities you will ever live to remember. When feeding actively around the boat, the sharks may occasionally brush their tail against the cage, but they NEVER attack the cage. They are very curious though and often come close-up to the cage, to take a closer look at the diver.

Itinerary:
Arrival at the Gansbaai office (start of your adventure), where a light breakfast with tea and coffee will be available, while the safety briefing and other formalities are concluded. The boat will launch from Kleinbaai harbour, 20 minutes later you'll anchor in or nearby the 'Shark Alley'. Then you're off to get UP-CLOSE with these magnificent creatures!

After the cage diving, you'll return back to Kleinbaai harbour, where you'll be served a light hot lunch, while viewing the video of adventure with the great whites! You will be able to obtain a copy of your own personal experience on DVD after the tour.

Duration:
Total duration of shark cage diving from meeting point until departure is approximately 5 hours with roughly 3 hours at sea.
