After you’ve been picked up by the guides from the city center, you will split into groups and hop on the minivan. Your guide will analyse the weather conditions and give you a quick briefing about the itinerary and the possible locations that you will visit throughout the evening. The road you will take depends entirely on the forecast of the day, and may usually include the coastal islands, or even towards the Finnish border. Once you’re set, you will head out on your Arctic adventure and chase the clear skies!

Throughout the ride, you will stop in multiple locations until you find the perfect spot to set up a bonfire while waiting for the spectacle. For your convenience, thermal suits and boots are available abroad the minivan to keep you warm and cosy. Relax by the fire while sipping warm drinks and warming up with a delicious wrapped reindeer sausage under the starlight (vegetarian options are available) Your guide will share some fascinating facts and stories about the Arctic as you gather around the wildfire and wait for the Auroras to take the stage.

If the Northern Lights don’t appear, you may head out to a different direction with more optimal conditions. Once you’ve spot the first Aurora Arch, your guide will start taking pictures of you, making sure that you will have the perfect Aurora picture. If you bring your own camera, tripods are available and your guide and professional photographer will take the time to help you with the camera set-up. Take in the overall magnificent scenery and enjoy the Aurora Dance right above you!

Once you’ve taken in the show, and filled up your picture galleries, it is time to take the road and head back to Tromsø.
