Your boat tour in the Alta Fjord starts at Fiskerihavna Harbour, where you'll be greeted by your experienced Captain and guide. You and your group (a maximum of 10 participants) will receive a safety and itinerary briefing before putting on your thermal overalls and life jackets. Protected from the freezing Arctic temperatures, you'll board the boat and cruise to the scenic Kåfjord, admiring the incredible panorama as you go.
Once you've arrived in Kåfjord, your Captain will take you to the location where the WW II German battleship, 'Tirpitz', sank and point out where English businessmen built the mines. Your boat tour in the Alta Fjord continues to special and remote places to observe birds, marine life, and rare fauna. Don't forget your camera, you may be graced with the presence of whales and dolphins!
