Exploration diving in Blue Bay, Mauritius

If you are certified Level 1 or higher in diving and you want to discover the seabed of Mauritius, opt for an exploration dive at Blue Bay!

With its large lagoon extending up to Mahebourg, Blue Bay is the ideal place to go diving in the south-east of Mauritius. Indeed, many interesting diving sites are located there, whether in the heart of the lagoon or offshore. Between impressive sites with huge underwater caves like the Purple Cave, sites rich in fauna and flora like the Lobster Cave or the Anemone Garden, or sites with wrecks like Sirius Wreck, you will be spoilt for choice!

Requiring at least a Level 1 in diving, these exploration dive trips in Blue Bay are done in the morning, on a site chosen according to your level, the weather conditions, but also your desires. The depth varies between 6 and 25 meters in the lagoon, and can go up to 40 meters outside. It's up to you to decide if one dive on one site is enough for you, or if you want to discover a little more and prefer to go for two exploration dives on two different sites!
