After going through your documentation, you'll receive the scuba diving equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank, and weights). For this excursion, you can choose to take part in one or two adventure dives. There are over 20 dive sites to choose from, all within a 5-15 minute boat ride from Aliki. The exact spot will be chosen based on your experience, preferences, and the wind conditions.
Then, you'll set off on the boat trip to the chosen dive site for your scuba diving in Paros! With guidance from the instructor, you'll dive beneath the surface and explore the magnificent underwater ecosystem. You may visit sites such as Tripiti (a spectacular arch formed by the collapse of an ancient land cave), Poseidon Eye (featuring large limestone blocks, white cliffs, and a beautiful Posidonia meadow), and Preza (a small islet strait between Paros and Antiparos). During your scuba diving excursion in Paros, you may spot vibrant marine species such as octopuses, scorpionfish, sea bream, and corals.
If you choose the 2-dive option, you'll head back to the surface for a 45-minute break on the boat. Snacks and water/tea will be served while you recover and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Then, you'll travel to the second dive site. Panderonissi Cavern is a popular site visited on the double dive option, as good buoyancy control is required. This fascinating underwater cave features a bottom made up of sand, rocks, and large sea anemones. You might also visit other underwater rock formation sites, or even shipwrecks!
