Mykonos is a Greek island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea. It is known for its vibrant culture, picturesque towns, and beautiful beaches. On this boat tour from Mykonos, you'll discover its nearby gems!

The adventure begins at the embarkment point in Mykonos, where you will board the luxury sailing yacht and meet the experienced crew (pick-up from your accommodation is available at an additional charge upon request). After a quick safety and itinerary briefing, the skipper will set sail along Mykonos' southern coastline, home to a range of stunning beaches. These beaches are secluded and protected from the Meltemi wind that blows over the island.

As you sail, you'll pass the spectacular beaches of Ornos, Psarou, Platis Gialos, Paraga and Paradise Beach. After approximately 1 hour of sailing, you'll reach the uninhabited islet of Rhenia, also known as 'Big Delos.' The islet is only accessible by yacht, making it a small secluded paradise compared to the busier beaches of Mykonos. Rhenia boasts unspoiled beaches with crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The refreshing turquoise salty waters will invite you for a relaxing swim entering the clear sea by the yacht swimming ladder (pier facilities or tendering ashore are not available). Snorkelling gear is available on board for free use at your convenience.

Then, a delicious Mediterranean-style buffet lunch consisting of traditional Greek flavours and a selection of complimentary wine, beers and soft drinks will be served on board. After approximately 2 hours spent in the untouched islet of Rhenia, you'll continue the sailing cruise in Mykonos by watching the breathtaking landscape of yellow, orange and red colours while the sun goes down in the very blue Aegean Sea. A farewell shot will be toasted to say goodbye after your memorable sailing cruise in Mykonos! Upon arrival back at the pier, you'll be transferred to your original pick-up point (if selected).

Practical information

On this 6-hour cruise, you will sail to the southern beaches of Mykonos (Ornos, Psarou, Platis Gialos, Paraga and Paradise Beach), and Rhenia Island. Swimming/snorkelling stops and an on-board lunch with drinks are all included.

Activity requirements

All passengers must provide their passport details (full name, passport number, nationality, and date of birth) upon reservation.

Passengers are barefoot on board. No high-heeled shoes and sandals/flip-flops are allowed on the yacht.

Special terms

A pick-up and drop-off shuttle service is available upon request for an additional charge and operated from either your hotel or a designated meeting point, depending on the location of your accommodation (please contact your instructor directly after booking to arrange).

For bookings without transfer, the meeting point is subject to change and will be confirmed the evening before depending on the current weather conditions and on the finalised embarkation point. You will be able to recognize one of the cruise representatives and crew by their t-shirt or sign saying 'Sunfos Alessia Yachting'.

Die Segeltor war aufgrund der hohen Wellen& dem starken Wind (im Oktober) sehr spannend und abenteuerlich! Der Kapitän hat uns aber sehr souverän und mit Gelassenheit an Land gebracht. Tolles Essen, schöne Spots zum baden! Wichtig: die Inseln Rhenia und Delos besichtigt man nur vom Boot aus- die ganzen sechs Stunden ist man auf dem Wasser.
