Suitable for all levels, canyoning near Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port will allow you to try slides, jumps, water passages and in some cases small abseils. After a drive for which carpooling is recommended, you will arrive at the site. During the approach walk, you will get to know the instructor and discover the fauna and flora of the valley. Then, your 2-hour descent of the Valcarlos canyon can begin! You will go down a series of natural slides, jumps, water passages and abseiling! Equipped with a full wetsuit, helmet, neoprene socks and shoes, you will be accompanied by the instructor throughout the descent. Practical information
The Valcarlos canyon is suitable for everyone, with slides, jumps, water passages and in some cases small abseils.
All difficulties can be avoided. Jumps are not compulsory. Ideal for a first experience in canyoning.
Time spent in the canyon : 2 hours.

It is necessary to be able to swim and not to be claustrophobic to participate in this activity.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
If no one else has booked on the chosen date, the instructor will find another date as soon as possible.
Getting to the meeting point from Saint-Jean-pied-de-Port :
- Take the D933 towards Arnegy/Pamplona Spain (8km).
- At the roundabout, turn right over the bridge and the border.
- Follow the road for 3.5km to Valcarlos. Drive slowly so as not to miss the meeting point. Venta Ardendegia on the right as you climb up before the fronton. Your instructor will be waiting for you.
