Take a 7 km rafting trip down the Aude River in the heart of the Pierre-Lys Gorges, halfway between Axat and Quillan!
What could be more fun and refreshing than rafting down the Aude River in the middle of summer, just a 1 hour and 15-minute drive from Perpignan or Carcassonne? Aboard an inflatable boat called a raft, your group of 4 to 7 participants will have to synchronise with the instructor also on board to guide you through the river's rapids. Great thrills await you on this rafting trip through the Gorges of the Pierre-Lys, starting in Belvianes-et-Cavirac!
You will have the pleasure of sailing for around 1 hour and 15 minutes in the magnificent natural setting of the Pierre-Lys Gorges, between Quillan and Axat. Accessible to children aged 8 and over, as long as they can swim and immerse themselves, this sporty rafting trip down the Aude River will take place in complete safety alongside your instructor, and with full equipment for the activity (neoprene wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, etc.). With family or friends, you will have an unforgettable time rafting the rapids of the Aude River!

Practical information
A 7 km rafting trip down the Aude River in the Pierre-Lys Gorges (around 1 hour and 15 minutes in the water).
- Meeting at the Rodeo Raft base in Belvianes-et-Cavirac (free parking on site) at least 10 minutes before the start of the activity
- Equipment in on-site changing rooms
- Shuttle transfer to the start of the descent
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Launching of the rafts (maximum 7 participants per raft)
- Departure for a 1 hour and 15-minute rafting trip down the Pierre-Lys Gorges
- End of the route directly at the base
- Disembarkation and stowage of equipment
- Change in the changing rooms (showers and toilets also available) and finish the activity with a chance to enjoy the picnic area at the base
All participants must know how to swim and immerse themselves to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the departure time.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and disabled people.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
If you wish, you can obtain photos and videos of your activity on site for an extra €25 (USB key provided).
