It takes a total of 4 hours to complete the descent, making it a sporting course accessible only from the age of 14, provided you can swim, have already abseiled and are not afraid of heights. As well as the usual swimming sessions and natural slides, the Pissevieille Canyon also offers cave crossings, jumps up to 4 metres and abseils, including an 80-metre spider wire abseil under a waterfall to round off the adventure in style. Of course, a state-qualified instructor will be at your side throughout the experience, ensuring your safety as well as the equipment you will be equipped with (neoprene wetsuit, canyoning shoes, etc.). What's more? You will discover the Pissevieille Canyon in a small group of no more than 10 participants, the ideal way to share the experience with other adventurers!

Practical information
4-hour sporty descent in the Pissevieille Canyon: the jumps that are up to 4 metres can be abseiled around.
- Meeting with the instructor on the Route des Gorges car park at Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the activity
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Distribution of materials and equipment
- 45-minute approach walk
- Start of the 4-hour descent of the Pissevieille Canyon, with all jumps that can be abseiled around
- 25-minute walk back to the meeting point
- De-equipping, debriefing and end of the activity
All participants must know how to swim, not be afraid of heights and have already done abseiling to take part in this activity.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the departure time.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.
You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and disabled people.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required to run this activity.
You can take part in the activity wearing glasses, provided you attach them to a cord so they don't get lost along the way.
