Boat Cruises to Dia Island from Heraklion

This trip departs from Heraklion, the capital city of Crete, Greece's largest island. For this excursion, you can choose several options when booking - a shared or private boat cruise on a comfortable yacht, or a shared or private luxury boat cruise on a premium 17 m (56 ft) catamaran. For the private tours, your group will be alone on the boat with the crew. You can also choose to be picked up from your accommodation in specified areas in Crete (additional price), or meet directly at the starting point at the Venetian Old Port of Heraklion. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the certified Captain and crew and board the boat. After a quick welcome briefing, your boat cruise to Dia Island begins!

As you set sail on the vibrant Cretan Sea, you'll pass the magnificent Koules Fortress located right at the entrance of the marina. During the 1-hour trip to Dia Island, the guide will share stories and insights about the island and its history. Then, you'll arrive at the Bay of Dia, home to crystal-clear waters, rich marine life and secluded beaches. The boat will dock here and you can try some exciting water activities, such as fishing, snorkelling and stand up paddle boarding! All equipment and safety instructions will be provided.
