Climb aboard the catamaran that will take you on a cruise to the Lavezzi archipelago, either from the port of Bonifacio or from the lagoon of Piantarella, 7 km to the south-east of Bonifacio. Once on deck, meet your skipper and his crew, who will suggest several possible directions within the Bonifacio nature reserve, depending on the weather and your joint wishes.

Your skipper holds a state sailing instructor's certificate, and if you feel like it during the cruise, he or she can help you discover the pleasure of steering a catamaran in complete safety, and introduce you to the various sailing manoeuvres. What's more, the programme of catamaran cruises in the Bonifacio reserve includes swimming stops, accompanied by water-based activities: masks and snorkels for observing the Mediterranean marine fauna, and paddle boards for sailing the waters of Corsica while admiring the breathtaking scenery, this time without sails.

Depending on the weather, catamaran cruises in the Bonifacio nature reserve can take you as far as the North Sardinia archipelago, where you can discover the islands of La Maddalena, Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria, as well as the Lavezzi and Cavallo islands and the cliffs of Bonifacio.

At sea, the characteristic atmosphere of sunset is soothing and relaxing... on land and at sea, sunset is a time for sharing.

You can then set sail for the cliffs of Bonifacio or the Lavezzi islands. To sum up, depending on the season and the exact time of sunset, the cruise departs at around 6pm and returns at 9pm.

Aboard the catamaran, you'll have the chance to make a number of stop-offs where you can enjoy a swim, stand-up paddle, snorkel in a magnificently preserved site and, for the less seaworthy among you, enjoy an aperitif at sunset.

Course of events

Welcome of participants on the beach at Piantarella and presentation of the Cartaran.

Boarding of a semi-rigid boat to join the catamaran at anchor in the lagoon.

Set the programme for the sunset cruise, depending on the weather.

Departure for a 3-hour cruise through the Boniacio nature reserve.

Return to Piantarella, disembark and return to the beach.
