A first dive is an essential first step towards discovering the magical world of scuba diving. Led by a state-qualified instructor, your first dive in L'Île-Rousse will be full of new sensations and will allow you to admire the region's underwater flora and fauna in complete safety.

The first dive sites in L'Île-Rousse are only a short distance from the diving center and are chosen according to sailing and weather conditions, as well as the age of the divers. You will dive with your instructor to a maximum depth of 6 meters, at sites with excellent visibility for observing the underwater life that lives there.

Practical information

The activity lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours and takes place in a rocky cove in L'Île-Rousse

Course of events

- Meeting at the Epir Plongée diving school where you will be fitted with a wetsuit
- Quick joint presentation of information to remember and safety protocols
- 10 minutes boat trip to the cove where you will have your first dive
- Personal briefing with the instructor
- Launch for around 20 minutes of underwater exploration to a maximum depth of 6 meters
- Return to the dive center and receive your first dive certificate

Objectives

The aim of this dive is to let you admire the local flora and fauna. Great visibility guaranteed!

Activity requirements

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

This activity is forbidden to pregnant people, people with heart problems, respiratory problems (asthma), epilepsy and/or diabetes.
