Take a 300-km helicopter flight over Charlevoix and stop at the Cap de la Tête au Chien lighthouse for a local cider tasting!
Departing from Baie-Saint-Paul, just a 1-hour drive from Quebec City and a 2-hour drive from Saguenay, this helicopter flight over Charlevoix is an exceptional experience that will allow you to discover the region's superb landscapes from a breathtaking new angle. In all, you will spend 1 hour 45 minutes flying over almost 300 km of Quebec forests, mountains and rivers, with the bonus of a 30-minute stopover at the Cap de la Tête au Chien lighthouse for a tasting of local cider. Note that there will be a maximum of 3 of you on board the aircraft reserved for your group (4 if a baby is accompanying you), apart from the pilot, so you can enjoy an intimate getaway in Quebec that's ideal for families, couples and small groups of friends!
Your helicopter flight over the Charlevoix region from Baie-Saint-Paul begins with a 1-hour 15-minute panoramic flight over the region: the Charlevoix crater, the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park, the Saguenay Fjord, Baie-Sainte-Catherine and the St. Lawrence River will reveal themselves to you in a whole new way, with the pilot's commentary to keep you informed. The pilot will then land the aircraft on a wooden platform on the edge of a cliff, just below the Cap de la Tête au Chien lighthouse, where you will enjoy a 30-minute discovery of the site, including a local cider tasting. You will then climb back aboard the helicopter for the final 30 minutes of your panoramic flight over Charlevoix, following the banks of the St. Lawrence River back to Baie-Saint-Paul.
The province of Quebec is vast, so panoramic flights are the best way to make the most of its incredible landscapes. So if you are passing through Baie-Saint-Paul, be sure to board Héli-Charlevoix's Robinson RH44 Raven I for a helicopter flight over Charlevoix!
