To start your rafting adventure near Innsbruck, you will first meet your certified guide and fellow rafters at the Aqua Monte Basis centre. Once everyone is acquainted, it's time to get ready! You will receive your wetsuit, helmet, Lifevest and neoprene boots. Then, it's into the bus and off to the launch site. Once there, your guide will go over the proper techniques and protocols, you’ll do a few dry runs as a team, and then it's onto the water and into the white water rafting action!

Over the course of the next few hours, you and your fellow crewman will not only learn and practice the basics of rafting, you will also tackle some of the most challenging rapids in the area such as “Memminger Walze” and “Das Loch” to name a few. There will be sections of calm water following the turbulent white water portions, and it will be possible to skip certain areas with heavy rapids if necessary. Despite the obstacles posed by the thrilling class III rapids, this rafting experience near Innsbruck is still great for beginners to rafting as your guide will be with you every step of the way, not only to make sure you stay safe, but also to ensure you have as much fun as possible!
