The canoe tour starts in Finger Lake which you will paddle across and then do a quick portage (hike and carry) to enter Cottonwood Lake. From there you will enter a series of streams that will take you to Mud Lake and finally Wasilla Lake where your journey will end! Throughout the tour you will also be able to spot a variety of local wildlife such as moose, ducks, fish and more! This trip is open to beginner kayakers. However participants need to be physically able to walk on uneven ground, walk though mud, and carry 50 lbs/23 kg up to 200 ft/60m.
If you are not at the designated meeting spot/pick-up within 15 minutes of your activity start time you will be considered a no show.
Per paying adult, one child aged 5 or younger may participate for free as a lap rider.
Pick-up in the Anchorage area can be arranged by a 3rd party and is an extra $175 per person - 2 person minimum.
