Adrenaline Parapente

Originally from Alsace, Lionel Lang started paragliding in 1989, as you can imagine he has accumulated considerable experience over the years.

He was the Aerobatics Champion for Reunion in 2007 and was a finalist in the French Aerobatics competition several times between 1999 to 2011.

Lionel feels that paragliding has come a long way: “paragliding equipment and the quality of the flights have improved in leaps and bounds. The flights are now longer really giving you the chance to appreciate the rare opportunity of being in the open air with top quality gear.”  

In 2002, Lionel decided to move to Reunion Island teaching paragliding to others. He enjoyed it so much that he decided to create his own school called Adrenaline Parapente. Lionel loves to share his passion of flying with others especially people who may think they’ll never be able to experience such an adventure, such as people with a disability.

The team of Adrenaline Parapente consists of 10 – 15 people (depending on the season). The school also has a chauffeur who welcomes customers and takes them to the different spots.
