Déroulement

- You must arrive at the meeting point on your own, so don't forget to arrange transportation there prior to your activity day.

- When all participants have arrived, the tour will start with a 40-minute approach on foot along a path that starts from the car park of the ravine.

- Halfway down you will be able to see the Cueva de las Polvorosas. At this point, you'll equip yourself with your harness and helmet, and in some cases, practice a bit of rappel.

- You will approach the entrance of the Barranco de Formiga on foot and this path will end with a thrilling handrail on a gorge equipped with a lifeline. There, you will equip yourself and use your anchor wand to be able to cross it.

- At the end of the handrail you will begin a 20-metre abseil, which will take you to the entrance of the ravine, an area known as ‘La Playa’.

- At ‘La Playa’ you will make a stop to eat your snacks and equip yourself with your wetsuit and the rest of the material.

- You will access the first section of the canyon via a slide. This first stage is very sporty, as the canyon is narrow and, following the initial slide, you will find a 7 metre abseil, another slide and a couple of short siphons.

- You will continue walking through the water in a more open area and enjoy some optional jumps and jumps of up to 3 metres, until you reach the biggest and narrowest jump of the canyon, with a height of 7 metres. This last one is optional and if you don't want to jump, you have the option of doing a slide or abseiling.

- Once you have passed these tests, you will continue to advance through the canyon with a few drops and jumps of up to 4 metres until you reach the end of the canyon, where you will find the last jump, a couple of metres high, which you can repeat several times if you wish.

- At this point you will stop for lunch and a swim in the pool.

- When you're ready, you'll take a final 15-minute walk back to the car park where you arrived in the morning and finish your tour.
