This amazing canyoning experience down the Rio Verde is a medium-difficulty activity for people 14 years old and up, who are looking for a fun and challenging experience. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters as you abseil, jump, hike, and swim during this fun adventure!
- Arrival at meeting point and introduction to your guide
- Equipment distribution
- Safety and activity briefing
- Approach to the canyon's starting point (15 minutes)
- Descent of the canyon with lots of jumps into natural pools (3.5 hours)
- Exit of the canyon and return to the meeting point (45 minutes)
- Return of equipment and end of activity.
All participants must be able to swim.
If you suffer from vertigo (not fear of heights), canyoning is not necessarily recommended.
Good physical condition is essential for canyoning. The minimum requirement is to be able to walk easily for 2 hours on difficult terrain, and to have stable feet.
You must wear one pair of sports shoes (without flat soles) for the canyoning activity. Shoes will get wet, so don't forget to take a second pair of shoes to change into after the activity.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
Canyoning shoes and gloves are available for rent at the meeting point, for an extra fee.
