Learning safety positions.
Knowing how to use protection: Falling forward on protection.
Propulsions: first propulsion technique (with or without turns).
Simple braking at low speed.

Safety aspect: Learning how to fall on the protections (forward):
1. At standstill: safety position
2. While driving: safety position
3. Mastering balance on both supports
4. Different support holds
5. Learning the first turns
6. Learning how to brake

Technical aspects:
1. Knee bending work
2. Learning technical gestures (lemon, snowploughing, buffer braking.
3. Control of balance on a support (with or without aid/level)

Exercises:
1. Basic position
During the first session and before starting any exercise, show and ask to do the following positions on the spot:
- With both feet parallel, the distance between the feet corresponds to the width of the pelvis. Straight, non-inclined wheels.
- Bend your knees and ankles, bend slightly forward, arms at your sides.
- Feet like a duck (open) walking a few steps.
- Drop to your knees and get up without the help of your hands.
- With both feet parallel, lift one foot, then the other, lean to one side and use the back brake.

2. Forward and stop: Master primary balance: stand, propel yourself, stop.
- Placement of markers: 2 markers 10 metres away from the pupils.
- Take off (propulsion) then brake (until you come to a complete stop) just in front of the block.

3. Learning to steer: slalom (moving forward, turning, moving through a course.
- Slalom from 10 to 15 metres: Carry out a course with your feet apart then closer and closer together.
- Propulsion then let yourself slide.
Variations can be put in place according to the students' progress.
