Practical information
This activity is available every Friday and Saturday from 12th May to 1st September.
What to wear: Appropriate clothing makes the trip more enjoyable. If you don’t have biking clothes dress as you were going hiking. Layers are good, water/windproof outer layer, good hiking shoes, gloves – NO jeans, avoid cotton.
This trip is suitable for any riders up to intermediateskill level.
Will it be cold?
Again, its tough to predict. Summer months are typically 5-10C overnight and 10-20 C during the day, but this is just a rough guide. In the mountains, the weather is even harder to predict. Pack for a variety of conditions and bring layers, keeping in mind that Iceland has very little shelter in the backcountry (e.g. trees, huts etc.). You will receive a detailed kit list with practical information when you book the activity.
