Practical information
4 hour easy to moderate hike along the entire length of the Front Table and to Macelar’s Beacon, the highest point on the Table Mountain Chain. The hike has an ascent and descent via cable car. The Disas Orchid can be seen along this route from December - February.

The weather on the mountains can change unexpectedly and sudden drops in temperature are common. It is suggested to wear clothing that prevents sunburn on hot, sunny days, and to wear layers according to the weather.
During the cableway maintenance closure period an additional tariff based off of the one-way cableway ticket per person is charged, if the hiking route involves descending Table Mountain on foot.
