Practical information

A full-day snowshoe hike (6 hours in total) with positive and negative gradients of up to 299 metres.

Course of events
  • Meet the guide at the local in Cauterets
  • 15-minute carpool transfer to the Pont d'Espagne (8 seats available in the minibus)
  • A 4.5 hour walk to Lac de Gaube, with a lunch break and other short breaks in between.
  • 15-minute transfer to the office in Cauterets

Pets are strictly forbidden in the National Park.

Transport is included subject to availability in the guide's vehicle (8 seats available). An additional vehicle is often required to follow the guide's vehicle.
