Practical information
Training about 3 hours which includes a short theory course and 1 dive with simple exercises and discovery lasting 40 to 50 minutes.
Your Basic Diver certification card will represent the first, no-obligation step in your training, with the possibility of completing your Open Water Diver course within 6 months of your certification (this will be recognised as one of the compulsory dives).
- Welcome at the dive centre and administrative formalities
- Theoretical course on scuba diving
- Preparation of diving equipment, then boarding of the boat
- Sail for 5 to 10 minutes to the chosen dive site, depending on the day's weather conditions
- Launch for 40 to 50 minutes
- Return to the dive centre and debriefing to receive your SSI Basic Diver card
Try Scuba Diving is the first stage of your Open Water training. If you complete your training within six months of your Try Scuba certification, this will be considered one of the compulsory dives and you will not have to repeat it.
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
A written parental authorisation is required for minors to take part in this activity.
