Practical information
A half-day discovery of sandboarding near Cape Town with qualified instructors.
Course of events
Please allow 4.5hrs in total for this activity (incl. travel time & briefing).
- Pickup from City Bowl areas by your sandboarding instructor
- Drive to the Atlantis Sand Dunes just 45 minutes out of Cape Town
- Safety briefing
- Learn the basics of sandboarding
- Then the fun begins! Cruising and carving at speed down steep sand dunes!
- Drop off to City Bowl areas
Activity requirements
A minimum number of 3 participants is required to run this activity.
Special terms
This activity is not accessible to pregnant women.
Included
- Transport in quality vehicles with air conditioning and good music (to get psyched)
- Qualified instructor
- Light snacks and refreshments
- Sandboard
- A dedicated Gazebo for the crew (for some much needed shade) - upon request only
Excluded
- Compulsory entry permit/conservations fee (R75 pp - will be added at checkout)
