Practical information
A 2-hour guided sea kayak tour around Schaapen Island, where you can see a protected bird colony, seals and even white rabbits, and learn more about the history of the area, including the whaling station, Saldana steel and Postberg.
- Meeting with the guide on Langebaan Beach
- Distribution of sea kayaking equipment
- Briefing on the activity, paddle handling and safety instructions
- Launching of the kayaks
- Departure for a 2-hour guided sea kayaking excursion around Schaapen Island
- Return to the beach, equipment storage and end of the activity

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
It is your responsibility to make sure that you have any personal medication with you (e.g. asthma puffers, allergy medication, etc.).
