Practical information
Your PADI Discover Scuba Diving course in Sanary-sur-Mer in a pool, the ideal experience if you are apprehensive about diving in the sea: after studying the theory course sent to you at home (PADI e-learning, about 30 minutes reading time), you will spend 1 hour diving in the centre's pool, which is up to 5 metres deep.
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving can be used as a first step towards full certification if you decide to continue your diving training.
Please allow around 3 hours for the whole experience.
- Reception at the diving centre in the port of Sanary-sur-Mer, on the Wilson quay
- Distribution of diving equipment and fitting of wetsuits in the centre's changing rooms (separate men's and women's changing rooms)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Launch into the pool for approximately 1 hour of practical diving exercises to a depth of 5 metres maximum, alone with the instructor (1 instructor per diver)
- Return of diving equipment with the possibility of a hot shower at the centre
- Debriefing of the activity over a cup of hot tea, then reception of your first dive diploma to end the activity
You don't need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.
You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity (ear infections, sinusitis, heart problems, diabetes, etc.): if you have any of these health problems, please consult your doctor before booking.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
