Kayaking or rafting on the Jacques-Cartier river near Quebec City.

Please allow 3 to 4 hours in total for this activity, including 2 to 3 hours for the trip down the river.

No previous white-water experience is required, but you will need to receive a minimum of training and a talk on safety measures (on site, on the day of the activity).
You also need to know how to swim and be in good physical condition to cope with changing weather conditions, swim in rapids and paddle for extended periods.
The minimum age depends on the craft: rafting is accessible from the age of 6, kayaking from the age of 11.
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.
This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with disabilities.
You will be asked to accept and sign an Acknowledgement and Acceptance of Risk form in French or English (on site, on the day of the activity). For people under the age of 14, the form must be signed by the person with parental authority.
The river can be descended by kayak or raft. Please note that during periods of high water levels (spring or after heavy rain), the river can only be descended by raft.
Pets are not allowed to take part in this activity.
