Practical information
On this excursion, you'll depart from Chania in Crete and embark on a private jeep tour to Knossos Palace in Heraklion, with a visit to the Archaeological Museum.

- Drive to Heraklion (approximately 2 hours)
- Arrive at Knossos Palace
- Explore the palace/optional guided tour (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes)
- Drive to the Archaeological Museum (approximately 20 minutes)
- Visit the museum/optional guided tour (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes)
- Optional lunch stop at a local tavern (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes)
- Return drive to pick-up point in Chania (approximately 2 hours)
The trip is not recommended for people with car sickness, mobility or kinetic issues, back problems, or pregnant people.
The tour is not recommended for individuals over 195 cm (6'4") in height or 130 kg (287 lbs) in weight.
Please note that entrance fees and tour guides at Knossos and the Archeological Museum are not included. Entrance fees will cost approximately €20 per person. You have the option of booking a private certified guide at Knossos and the Archeological Museum for approximately €150-€200 total, or using a tablet for €20.
Pick-up will be from your accommodation in Chania. Please specify your location upon booking. Pick-up commences 30 minutes before the departure time.
The price indicated is per vehicle, holding up to 8 participants.
