Discover canyoning in the Okanagan Valley near Kelowna. This activity is suitable for families and beginners and is done in a group limited to 10 participants.

  • Abseiling (15 m max)
  • Ziplining (The length of the zipline is about 10m from takeoff till when you hit water and the height is 4m)
  • Jumps (3 m max)
  • Natural slides (4 m max)
Course of events

Please allow 4 hours in total for this activity, including 1.5 to 2 hours of canyoning.

  • Meet your guide at the Kelowna fruit stand 15 minutes before departure time.
  • Equipment and safety briefing: you will have a brief conversation with your guide to discuss the progress of the excursion, equipment and safety.
  • Car journey: you will follow your guide in your car for a 10-minute drive to the canyon's parking.
  • Access to the canyon: approach walk to the upper entrance of the canyon (10-15 minutes). This is a gently sloping 1 km hike that ends in a short steep section. You will return to the car along the same path at the end of the excursion.
  • Descent of the canyon: you will spend between 1.5 and 2 hours inside the canyon, depending on the circuit and the size of the group.
  • Walk back to the car (5 minutes)
Activity requirements

You need to be able to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.

  • Minimum height: 137 cm (4'6'')
  • Maximum waist size: 107 cm (for trouser size 42)
Special terms

This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with physical disabilities.

You may want to bring a sturdy box to store your glasses in case you need to put them away, as well as a small cord so you don't lose them.

Contact lenses are no problem either, as long as you remember to close your eyes under water.

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes early.

Pets are not allowed on the tour.
