Practical information
A 7-8 hour boat trip to Ilet Caret from Bas du Fort near Le Gosier. This excursion will also allow you to snorkel at the wreck of Ilet Caret, before enjoying an aperitif and lunch in a magnificent setting.
Course of events
Please allow a full day for this activity, including a 7-8 hour boat trip.
- Departure from the Bas du Fort water sports centre.
- Boat trip to Rivère Salée (30 minutes)
- Visit of Rivière Salée (30 minutes)
- Boat trip to Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin (15 minutes)
- Visit the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin (15 minutes)
- Snorkelling stop at the shipwreck (50 minutes)
- Aperitif at îlet Caret (1 hour)
- Boat trip to Plage du Souffleur (20 minutes)
- Lunch at Plage du Souffleur in Port-Louis (1h10)
- Visit to Pointe de Sable beach (1 hour)
- Sail back to Bas du Fort (30 minutes)

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
