Catamaran Trip from Portimão with Kayaking in the Benagil cave

The kayak excursion is optional and you can take part in this activity by staying on the boat (book the "viewer" option). The catamaran will always be alongside the kayaks. In this activity, the catamaran will be close to the Benagil cave but not inside it.

• Arrive 30 minutes before departure at Portimão marina for check-in.
• Before the excursion begins, you will receive a safety briefing.
• Board your catamaran for a trip to Albandeira beach. During the trip, the crew will teach you paddling techniques.
• From Albandeira beach, you can paddle a kayak for around 1.5 hours to the Benagil cave and even go inside anothe cave.
• Along the way, you'll come across a number of caves, which you can also visit with the help of your guide: Gruta do Capitão, Praia do Barraquinho, Gruta do Baraço and Praia da Marinha.
• Of course, you can take breaks for a swim and if you get tired, you can easily return to the catamaran and relax on its deck.
• If you don't take part in the kayaking tour, the trip to Benagil Cave is 30 minutes by boat.
• Depending on the weather and sea conditions, there may be changes and some caves can be visited from inside the kayak and others from inside the boat.
• Sail back to Portimão marina by catamaran.

You must arrive 30 minutes before departure for check in.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

If you do not wish to take part in the kayak trip and stay on the boat, please book as a "viewer".

Only double kayaks are available for this trip. A child can sit between its parents on the kayak.

This activity is not suitable for people with mental health problems or pregnant women.

The catamaran is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
