Tubing Down the Paiva River in Arouca from Areinho, near Porto

Please allow around 8.5 hours in total.

• Pick-up at your hotel in the centre of Porto (8 a.m.) or the centre of Porto at Largo Actor Dias (8.30 a.m.), depending on your choice
• Transfer by van to Arouca (approx. 1 hour) where you will meet the guide on the banks of the Paiva River
• Briefing on the course of the activity
• Distribution of equipment (helmet, wetsuit, life jacket)
• 4x4 drive to the start of the tubing tour
• Briefing on the safety instructions
• Departure for a 3-hour 45-minute tubing tour on the Paiva River
• End of the descent to Areinho, at the car park
• Return of the equipment
• Transfer to Espiunca village with the opportunity to take a hot shower on site, but also to swim in the river and have something to eat nearby (1.5 hours of free time)
• If you have opted for the lunch option (€20 supplement) when booking, you will enjoy during this 1.5-hour of free time a platter of typical Portuguese cold meats and cheeses (cheese only if you prefer), a drink of your choice (wine included), and then a choice between an Arouquesa steak sandwich, an Arouquesa beef burger, a veggie burger or a tuna sandwich, all served with crispy chips
• Once you have finished your meal, you will head to the Doces Conventuais de Arouca to enjoy a dessert: the ancient Conventual Pastry
• Return journey to Porto (approx. 1 hour) and drop-off at your pick-up point at around 5 p.m.

All participants need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people or people with reduced mobility.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
