Rafting on the Minho river from Melgaço

Please allow 5 hours 30 minutes in total for this activity, including 5 hours of rafting.

• Arrive 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
• Welcome at the base with a presentation of the team and information about the itinerary.
• Safety instructions: Practical session on safety rules, rafting techniques and the techniques used during the activity.
• Equipment: Distribution of helmets, lifejackets, paddles and wetsuits to ensure your comfort and safety.
• Start of the route at Frieira: Entry to the river, with an experienced guide leading the group through calm sections and rapids.
• Eventful sections: The rapids are tackled, with strategic stops to rest, jump off a rock, admire the scenery and take photos.
• Picnic break.
• Return to base: end of itinerary at Penso river beach and return to base.
• Debriefing, snack and end of activity.

You need to be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.

You don't need to know how to swim, but you must be comfortable in the water to take part (a lifejacket will be provided).

A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Pregnant women cannot take part in this activity.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the activity.

It is not advisable to bring valuables.

Pets are not allowed to take part in this activity.
