Practical information

A dolphin-watching excursion in the Arrábida Natural Park, departing from Sesimbra: you will set off on a 2 to 4-hour excursion (duration varies according to the time taken to find the dolphins), with the option of a swim stop at the end if you wish and the weather permits.

Course of events

Please allow up to 4 hours for the excursion if the dolphins are not found quickly.

  • Welcome at Sesimbra marina 10 minutes before departure
  • Boarding the boat
  • Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
  • Departure for a 2 to 4-hour excursion (average of 3 hours) in search of dolphins, with the possibility of a swimming break at the end if there is still time
  • Return to the marina, disembarkation and end of the activity
Activity requirements

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the departure time.

A minimum of 6 participants is required to run this activity.

Special terms

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and disabled people.

As dolphins are wild and unpredictable, you may not be able to meet them during the activity, but you should know that you still have more than a 95% chance of seeing one.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
