Vatnajökull Glacier Zip-Lining and Ice Caving Excursion near the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

- Arrival at the meeting point at the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon parking lot (please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time)

- Meet your certified glacier guide

- Safety and itinerary briefing

- The adventure begins!

- Scenic transfer to the Vatnajökull Glacier parking lot (30 minutes)

- Arrival

- Receive your equipment (helmet, harness, crampons, and headlamp)

- Introduction to glacier hiking and ice-caving along with equipment usage

- 30-minute hike to the edge of the Vatnajökull Glacier

- Guided tour of the 'Crystal Ice Cave' (1 hour)

- Photo session

- Break

- The adventure continues!

- Hike to the Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier

- Arrival

- Introduction to zip-line and zip-lining safety

- Zip-lining (x2 per participant) with a photo session

- Return hike to the vehicle

- Transfer back to the original departure point at the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon parking lot (30-minute drive)

Please be advised that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition, participants must be in good physical condition to take part in this excursion.

Please be advised that the total duration of the tour can run from 6-7 hours and the activity's difficulty level is labelled as 'moderate'. It includes 2 hours of hiking with a moderate incline customized to the pace of the group.

Zip-lining and ice-caving photos will be edited and sent to each participant within 14 days via a downloadable drive.

Also, 'no-fly' options are available for group members who do not want to participate in the zip-line portion of the tour.
