Practical information

Discover snowshoe trekking opposite the Reine Meije glaciers near La Grave, with a lunch break on the snow (price of meal not included)

Course of events

Please allow 6 hours in total for this activity, with 3h30 of walking time excluding breaks.

  • Appointment to be determined.
  • You will be briefed by your experienced guide on the planned itinerary and safety instructions.
  • Departure for an exploration of the Meije region, with a lunch break on the snow.
  • Part of your day will be devoted to discovering culling, with a mini challenge on a shovel sledge.
  • Back to the starting point.
Activity requirements

Participants should be able to complete a 3h30 hike with an ascent of around 350 metres.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult to take part.


Special terms

The cost of the meal is not included in the price and the cost of the guide's meal will be shared between the participants.

We recommend that you take out personal accident insurance covering mountain sports at any altitude.

Don't forget to let us know if you are undergoing any special treatment and/or are under medical supervision.

People with motor, mental/psychic or cognitive disabilities, infants and pets are not allowed to take part in this activity.
