Practical information
The main objective of this 2 to 3-hour course is to get you on the board as quickly as possible and in the most fun way! Although the lessons are mostly focused on practical exercises, you will finish the course with extensive knowledge about wave formation, currents, tides, and surfing equipment.
- Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your instructors
- Equipment distribution
- Safety and activity briefing
- Head to Puerto de la Cruz (or the beach with waves that will most adapt to your surfing level)
- Warm up and theoretical lesson
- 2-hour surf lesson in the water
- Return to the meeting point
- Equipment return and end of activity
The maximum number of participants per group is 8.
Participants must be over 16 years old to participate in this activity.
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
Please contact the instructor 48 to 24 hours before the activity to arrange the meeting point and time.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
