Practical information

This 4-hour activity includes 2 hours in a kennel (1-hour of which will be a dogsled ride in the Outaouais region) departing from Ottawa and Gatineau.

  • Groups of 14 people maximum.
Course of events

Please allow around 5 hours in total for this activity.

  • Pick-up is up to 50 minutes before the start of the visit at the chosen location. Allow about 1 hour for transportation.
  • Arrival and meeting with your professional musher.
  • 1h sled dog excursion as a passenger.
  • 1h guided tour of Plaissance Falls, a waterfall higher than Niagara Falls.
  • End of activity and debriefing.
  • 1h with the dogs.
  • 1h transport back to selected pick-up point.
Activity requirements

Maximum weight: 113 kg (250lbs) for adults and 45kg (100lbs) for kids.

A minimum of 5 customers is required to organise this excursion.

To qualify for the reduced rate, children aged 12 or under (or under 100 pounds) will need to show photo ID on the day of the excursion. They will also be seated with their parents.

People weighing more than 113 kg (250lbs) must contact us before booking. There may be a surcharge of $65 per person over this weight limit. This surcharge is due to the fact that each sled has a weight limit to ensure the safety of guests and the comfort of the overall experience.

This visit may be postponed in the event of bad weather, such as freezing rain or temperatures below -25 degrees.
