Igloo construction and snowshoe treasure hunt in Ax-les-Thermes

Practical information

A 2-hour guided family snowshoe hike departing from Ax Les Thermes, alternating between walking with a treasure hunt and building an igloo.

Course of events

Please allow 3 hours in total for this activity, including a 2-hour snowshoe treasure hunt.

Meet at the Ax les Thermes train station car park.
Car pooling to the starting point of the activity (15 to 30 minute journey).
Distribution and adjustment of the equipment provided (snowshoes and poles).
A 2-hour snowshoe hike with a treasure hunt. The pace of progress will be adapted to the group and each person's physical condition.
During the hike, you'll take a break to build an igloo using an ancestral method.
End of hike and return of equipment.
Return journey to Ax les Thermes station (15 to 30 minutes).

Activity requirements

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.

Special terms

The "family" rate applies to a group of 2 adults (over 13) and 2 children (12 maximum).

Infants, pets and people with motor disabilities are not allowed to take part in this activity.
